The Biolights technique combines the artistic freedom of balayage and the detail of traditional foiling giving the benefits of both. The 100% biodegradable cotton material allows for a quick and efficient application while buffering the lightening process rather than accelerating it with the usual foils.  The risk of over processing is also reduced as the fabric allows for aggressive catalyst such as ammonia to dissipate during the lightening process rather than accelerate in aluminum.
